TARAMM was formed in 1990 by Georges Broihanne, an engineer with many years experience in the investment casting of Titanium Alloys


The company has successfully established an international reputation as an industry leader in the Aerospace and Advance Engineering sectors.

Search for a 5 hectare (12 acre) site to build a new facility

Launch of a new fusion furnace with capacity of 35kg.
2009
Acquisition 0f 5-axis Maching Centre (CNC) to meet customer demand for the supply of finished parts.
2008
Acquisition of 3D Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
2007
Production area doubled
2001
: Commissoning of a new, cold crucible induction furnace for pouring of vacuum castings up to 17kg.
1997
relocation and tripling in size of the production facility.
1994
acquisition of a majority stake by Mr. Blaise Henrion, a well established figure in the French precision forging sector
1993
received sole source contract from Airbus for 38 cast parts.

Activity

TARAMM is an investment casting foundry, producing small precision parts ranging from a few grams to 7 kilograms, made from titanium or titanium alloys.

TARAMM is using an advanced process : " cold crucible induction melting process "

This melting process is also well suited for high melting-point alloys requiring vacuum melting, such as refractory nickel based alloys.
